Our history

The Mas de la Ville, located on the banks of the Great Rhône, at the gateway to the Camargue, is a traditional farm that has belonged to the Thomas family since 1906.

The first storage silos were installed on the site in 1957.

Founded in 1982, THOMAS LLC turned toward organic farming in 1990.


It has since built an entire industry by developing its own large scale production facilities and sales and marketing team.

It has since become a group with two units: Biosud (founded in 2003) by THOMAS LLC and ARTERRIS
and Biocamargue (founded in 2016) by THOMAS LLC and EKIBIO.

In 2022, we are the leader in France for organic Camargue rice and French organic durum wheat.

Our products are marketed under our brand name BONGRAN.
There are several recipes for rice cakes that you will find in our range of organic products.
All our cakes are guaranteed GLUTEN free.
